If you have an iPhone you can download an app called "Field Agent". Large companies hire them to post simple jobs for people to do for them. Many involve taking a photo of an item in a store and showing it with the posted price. Other jobs involve taking a survey.

You get paid per job and the money is paid to you through Paypal. Most jobs are in the $2 to $5 range, but there are some better paying jobs as well.

One way you can make money on the internet is by self publishing your own books through lulu.com. You can choose to make your project available as an e-book, a physical book, or both.

Lulu charges no up front fee to publish through their system, and gives you some good thoughts on marketing. They have fancier services available if you would like help.

Books are ordered from your "storefront" page, lulu takes a percent of the sale, and on a monthly basis remits you the balance through PayPal. ( Takes a few weeks fort he first cycle to begin sometimes )
