Suite 101 is always looking for new freelance writers. You'll get paid a percentage of the revenue your article generates for them.

Applicants are asked to submit two writing samples for review. Once your application is approved, you can get started right away! Get published, get paid, and participate in our professional writers’ community. Our commitment to you includes hands-on support and guidance from professional editors; networking opportunities in writers’ forums; the chance to build your profile and promote your writing talents online.

Once approved, you will be asked to read and accept the terms of the writer’s contract. The contract covers three main points:

Productivity: Suite101 requires writers to produce 10 articles every three months to ensure our writers meet minimum requirements to achieve successful results.

Royalties: Our contract doesn’t outline specific percentages of royalties writers can earn from advertising associated with their articles. We do, however, provide statistics to view your earnings and assess which articles are most profitable.

Digital Rights: Suite101 requires exclusive digital rights to any articles published for a period of one year from the first posting date. This policy keeps our articles fresh and original but it also ensures your articles are found by our readers. If a writer were to post the same article on multiple sites, it diminishes traffic to Suite101 and reduces your revenue potential. Remember: these are digital rights only. Our writers are welcome to publish their Suite101 articles in print.

Suite 101
